Ancient Archives was sitting on a goldmine of inventory. Their old site and manual workflow were the bottleneck.

Ancient Archives sits on one of the most unique collections in Salt Lake City. Fossils, minerals, artifacts. Every piece is one-of-one. But their site looked like it was built in 2016. Product photography was buried. Navigation was confusing. And the owner could only list new inventory from a desktop. So new arrivals sat in a backlog for weeks. Every day something wasn't listed was a day it couldn't sell.
We treated this as one connected problem. The site needed to look and feel like the store. Dark, textured, museum-quality. But a pretty site with the same broken listing process would just be a pretty site with empty shelves. So we bundled the redesign, the Shopify migration, and a custom upload tool into one build.
Dark palette. Museum-grade layout. Typography that matches the weight of what they sell. We rebuilt the visual identity from the ground up so the site feels like walking into the store.
Off the legacy platform. Onto Shopify. Clean product architecture, proper collections, fast checkout. Built for a retail business that moves real inventory.
The game changer. A custom mobile-first web app that lets the owner photograph a new arrival, fill three fields, and publish it as a live Shopify listing. No desktop. No backlog. Minutes, not days.
